Service Parts Specialist and Office Coordinator

We are seeking a customer-facing parts specialist and office coordinator for a fast-paced position in our service department. You'll work closely with service technicians, who will give diagnoses to repair jobs as they come in, along with what processes and parts they believe are needed to do the job. You'll take those conclusions and use manuals, cross-references, and information online to find and procure the parts needed to get the job done. You'll also be a primary point-of-contact with customers about the completion and billing status of their orders. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, has a background in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or agriculture, and possesses basic computer skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, locate, and purchase the right parts for each job
  • Perform office functions such as purchasing, invoicing, and inventory management
  • Assist in job scheduling and in planning repair work using blueprints and technical manuals
  • Communicate with customers about the status of their work requests
  • Communicate with vendors about the status of purchases and returns
  • Collaborate with colleagues on the best route forward in solving a given problem

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Mechanical or technical background
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate on problems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer and arithmetic skills
  • A great attitude and the ability to work in a public facing role
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds at a time

Service Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual for work within our service department. The ideal candidate is someone with a mechanical background, with some experience in one or more of industrial maintenance, parts research, electronics, hydraulics, welding or automotive repair. Those with experience in areas such as agriculture are also encouraged to apply. Our service department deals with a highly diverse set of jobs - work here will offer a lot of varied experience while strengthening your mechanical and technical skills. The ideal candidate is willing to learn a lot, ask questions, and dig into problems to pin down an answer.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
  • Plan repair work using blueprints and technical manuals
  • Collaborate with colleagues on the best route forward in solving a given problem

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Mechanical or technical background
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate on problems
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Some equipment provided, though must provide own hand tools
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking; Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces; Must be able to lift 50+ pounds at a time.
